Jay is the second trainer I’ve had. I’ve noticed a lot more progress and felt more engaged training with him, than anyone else. I like how he’s honest and cares about his clients. It’s not only just a job for him, but you can tell he loves what he’s doing. I also love all the support I get through the app! I wouldn’t have guessed that my training would’ve been this successful. I really just googled personal trainers in my area, and let’s say I lucked out!
I’ve been training with Jay for about 3 months now, and as a first-time personal training client, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I initially thought sessions would just be about workouts, but Jay’s approach is comprehensive - he includes weekly check-ins, a personalized meal plan, and ongoing support. I’ve been happy with the all around care and attention he provides. Jay is personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his craft. He’s attentive to his clients and goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional training experience. When I first started, I was sore all over, and he took the time to show me proper stretches and at-home remedies to help with recovery, which I really appreciated. He also tailors each session to your needs, striking the perfect balance between challenging you and keeping it manageable. I can’t recommend Jay enough for anyone looking for a supportive, dedicated, and results-driven trainer.
First and foremost, I want to preface that I’ve been an athlete my entire life however, I’ve never had a personal trainer. Being an athlete requires a lot of discipline and accountability and that is something that I was looking for when I began researching for personal trainers. I came across Jay on Instagram (@jaycromero) and what stood out to me was his vulnerability to add in his own progress photos. This convinced me that because he held himself accountable I would be able to trust him to do the same with my progress. During the intake, Jay made it feel as if you were talking to an old friend, and there was never any judgment in the questions he asked. He was very knowledgeable of the nutrients and calories the human body needs versus the extra calories that result in weight gain. I was set up to use an app that included a meal plan, scheduled workout and progress photos. I know this sounds expensive however, Jay has three different plans you can choose from that fit your budget and they all include having these benefits. The only difference is how consistent you have the 1:1 trainings. Moving on, the nutritional plan that i was given is amazing because Jay basis it off of the amount you eat already and the foods you like so you’re able to build a healthy habit with food which will benefit you when you no longer have his services instead of what most mainstream trainers do and that is have someone eat close to nothing in terms of what the person was eating before they began training so they are more likely to cheat their meals and in turn make no progress so it’s money wasted. Additionally, I was partnered with a trainer by the name of Salvatore. He has the same non-judgmental characteristics as Jay and will push you to do one more rep than you intended but you get constant validation that you’re stronger than you think and you’re doing a great job which makes you want to continue progressing. Not only are they encouraging for workouts but they take the time to celebrate small victories like not being winded going up the stairs which is a big leap for me personally. I have had their services for a total of 10 days and I have already lost 4 pounds! Whaat! Crazyy I know and I am so excited to continue my journey with them!
Jay is truly a gem in the personal training space. I never felt like I had too many questions or concerns when working with him. He had so much insight not only on the wellness side but also the full picture side. He understood how to bring me back mentally when the diet got hard or if I was having a tough training day. You can honestly see he has a passion for fitness and health, but also his clients. Best of the best, you won’t be disappointed.
I have had the privilege of watching my friend and trainer, Jay, build his gym and training systems from the ground up, and his passion for health, fitness, and helping others is unmatched. He’s fully committed to his clients, always tailoring workouts to their goals and pushing for real, lasting results.
