I sold a complete set of C.E.W. Bean's History of Australia in the War of 1914-18 to JB Military Antiques. I dealt with Jamey who proved to be a highly informed and clear communicator. From sale negotiation, to postage (I'm in Melbourne) to transfer of funds, Jamey acted without fuss and with complete integrity. JB Military Antiques were a pleasure to deal with and I recommend them highly.
Absolutely brilliant store in all areas. I’ve been using them for 3 years for my own medals and could not be happier with Nathan and the job he does on them each time—caring for them as if they were his own. I’ve also bought military antiques from here, such as Second World War medals, signed pictures, and maps, both in store and at their auctions. They have an incredible collection of gear, and unparalleled knowledge about the history each item represents. Finally, their collection of books needs to be perused, and I think I’ve found at least two or three to take home every time I’ve been in. Cannot speak highly enough of this place. If you are interested in military history, or have had family serve in the past, you need to pay them a visit.
Recently purchased a Colt .45 1911A1 replica. It is great. The postage was reasonable and quite quick. It arrived issue free, no dents to the packaging or the replica. The replica firearm looks, feels and works like the real thing. Will definitely buy again from this business.
I found JB Military Antiques totally by chance online whilst searching and decided to pop down for a look. One of the best decisions I have made recently as I discovered by the huge amount of medals on display that they offer a medal mounting service. I was introduced to Nathan who was a great help in organizing how my medals should be displayed and what accessories I was after. A few short weeks later and the medals were ready for collection. I was blown away with how good they look. From sitting in a drawer collecting dust to what you see in the picture. I couldn't be happier with the service or the outcome.
