I had an urgent repair, and they came the same day I called to replace my broken heat pump. I was really impressed with how quickly they handled everything. The service was impeccable, and their pricing was very fair. Thank you again!
They were extremely quick to respond. I called on Sunday and a technician was sent right away. The technician was very pleasant and professional to work with. He even shoveled the snow to safely access the area without any complaints. He worked carefully and safely, and took the time to explain things clearly. Excellent service, great attitude, and very responsive. Highly appreciated.
I couldn’t be happier with the service by JCD, I believe they have been in the business for over 40 years now. This was honestly the friendliest and most professional service I’ve ever received. Chris and his team were extremely fast with the installation, very organized, and responded to all my questions right away. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend JCD Refrigeration to all my friends and family. Excellent service! 10/10
Edit: JCD has chosen to reply to my review with numerous falsehoods. Their justification for how the install was done was NEVER communicated to us in this detail before the job was completed. We were told it would be a straightforward install, then it was done completely differently than discussed, and now they are trying to claim all was explained in advance. It was not. All of these limitations they describe were NOT discussed until after we questioned the install. Had they been, we never would have moved forward with this placement of the A/C. Original: Unfortunately we had an awful experience with this company and its owners Chris and Jonathan. We agreed to have our AC installed with lines running across the top of the wall, this way we could contain them in a bulkhead. They came and did something completely different and have damaged the structure of our doorframe and left a massive eyesore in our home. In no way is this what was agreed to, and anyone can see that it’s a sloppy job. Sadly they refuse to honour the satisfaction guarantee on their website. They also destroyed our garden during the install because they couldn’t be bothered to step around a few plants. They also left a gap on the exterior when the pipes come out. Nice little opportunity for insects of other critters to make a home! They offered to compensate me for the flowers but nothing else. They refuse to admit they did a poor job and take accountability for fixing it or even refund us a portion of the very large sum we paid. I would really caution anyone working with this company to get every single detail of the job in writing. Unfortunately we learned that the hard way.
Great service. The technician called prior to scheduled time to say he was on his way. We also received text message reminders. Excellent advice. He did a thorough inspection for $298 (tax included) and offered helpful solutions for repair vs. replacement of our 20-year old a/c LG unit (18,000 BTU). One option was to replace coolant for an extra cost of $300-500, but the unit likely has a slow leak, so replacement is a better long-term solution than a repair. He recommended a new Can-Air heat pump or a Lennox A/C unit as affordable & reliable option for replacement.
