Professor Mike, and the rest of the instructors at Jean Jacques Machado Jiu-Jitsu Fresno have been working with my middle-school son for several weeks now, and they’ve been nothing but welcoming, encouraging and helpful. My son and the other kids clearly have a lot of fun, able they push themselves through the training and exercises in each class. I’d my son growing through this experience, and I’m impressed by the strength add discipline I see in the other students.

Great instruction, coach walks around and makes sure to make adjustments constantly. This is a great place to train whether you are brand new like me or a veteran. Everyone is super friendly and encouraging, but they train hard here and you will get in phenomenal shape and become a master class grappler if you stick with it! Even the white belts here are very very good. It's affordable and there are many times you can train (5am, 12pm, 620 adult, and 430 kids). The dojo will soon be expanding and be almost three times the size (around new years), and if you Google the linage you will see professor Mike is legit and has received his black belt from one of the best at the world class level! 10 / 10 recommend, also a free trial class if you want to come check it out ! Family friendly and good for all age ranges
My kids were not sure if they wanted to do jiujitsu until I brought them to try the class. They were both hooked since then and have been very engaged and eager to learn more and more. The coaches are patient and knowledgeable. Our neighbor’s daughter joined as well after my kiddos did. We highly recommend “Jean Jacques Machado Brazilian Jiu-jitsu! “
Our grandson Mikel has only been with Jean Jacques for a little over a month and we have seen such a tremendous growth in him. Professor Mike and Coach Paul are awesome. We tried other companies but JJM Fresno is hands down the best.
