Jeannie was amazing to work with, especially as first time home buyers. We had a limited knowledge of the home buying process but she patiently walked us through everything. There was no such thing as a silly question! Her communication was great and she always let us know in advance if there would be a period of time where she wouldn’t be available. She took care of any problems that popped up and kept us in the loop/informed on what to expect next, making the whole process seamless. We aren’t from Hamilton so Jeannie’s extensive knowledge of the city and its neighbourhoods was something we really relied on appreciated. She never discouraged us from checking out certain areas and gave us her honest opinion when we asked. It took us a little over six months and we only ended up putting in two offers (one of which was accepted!) but she never rushed or pressured us. Jeannie is a rockstar, and you should 100% use her as your realtor. We purchased our first home in May 2023, and Jeannie really went above and beyond in helping us navigate the experience. We were living out west at the time, and I was only able to come to Hamilton for a few days. Jeannie cleared her schedule and made herself available as much as she could while I was in town, showing me a carefully curated list of homes within our budget and fitting our list of priorities. Her knowledge of Hamilton – as well as the different neighbourhoods it has to offer – made me really feel like I was in great hands, even in areas I didn’t know that well. When we found a home and made an offer, Jeannie was incredibly helpful in helping us navigate the process, and we feel we got an excellent deal without the frenzied energy lots of buyers experience. Despite the quick turn around, Jeannie never put any pressure on us to make a purchase – she absolutely wanted us to find the right fit for our family. Since we weren’t able to attend on the closing date, Jeannie did the walkthrough on our behalf. She even noticed that the basement needed a dehumidifier and went out and purchased and installed one for us! Jeannie is a smart, kind and ethical agent, and I say again – an absolute rockstar. Please use her as your realtor! We were able to find an amazing fit for our family in a great location and we are so grateful to Jeannie.
