Second time visiting this amazing bookstore. Definitely the most comprehensive collection of used books from every genre and era. The owner is AMAZINGLY helpful and we will come here again!
I discovered this store from a co-work. Finding the location was confusing at first. For Jeannie had to move over to 5807 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth VA. This Used Book Store is a GEM. I always find what I am looking for & more. The patron of this store Jeannie is always helpful, kind & we always have a great conversation time. Jeannie makes this store exciting for anyone who loves BOOKS. She also has sections of Audio Books, DVD’s/Bluray’s, Old Collectible Books, & books on every & any subject, topic. The prices are so affordable. A store to fall in love with. 🤩
Love this store! Prepare to be here for awhile. There's so much. I looked for classics, homeschooling books, and kids books. I barely even browsed half the store. Good prices. I got about 10 books for $50. I most definitely recommend stopping by, especially as a visitor. You also can get a stamp reward card for regulars.
Jeannie and her shop were lovely! So many books to look at, and she was very helpful! She clearly loves the shop and loves sharing her love of books with others. Sections were labeled and widely varied, with books from (I saw) as far back as the 20's to current. Prices were excellent and I was able to find a couple of good additions to my collection. She gave us good recommendations for places to eat nearby, and generally made us feel very welcome! Thanks Jeannie, we'll hope to be back this way again!
This is her new location, been going to her bookstore for quite some time , her old location was on High Street but now she’s in a better location in Portsmouth , it’s on Portsmouth Blvd as you’re heading to Bubba’s and Franks and East Side Pizza, The store has a whole new feeling to it and it’s spacious and she still has a ton of books to choose from.
