I have had many church and friend hangouts here. I live the dance game and the Classics Corner. And the vending machines are cheaper than the ones at my school
I literally can not recommend this arcade highly enough. Definitely feels like an old dungeon-y arcade, buy what it lacks in shine or polish is COMPLETELY made up for by the insane variety of well maintained new and old (very rare!!) games. Unironically, this is probably one of less than 10 places in the WHOLE USA where you can play the large cabinet version of Densha de Go, in English?? That is straight up amazing. (For the probably uninformed reader, this is a game where you can drive over a dozen super famous Japanese trains, including the Yamanote line which is perhaps the most ridden train line in the world). They also have Mai Mai, Sound Voltex, Groove Coaster, all of these super hard to find rhythm games that I love, and they all seem amazingly maintained. I live in California, in a well populated area, and the next available MaiMai DX cabinet to me is probably this one (2 states over). This is not even mentioning dozens of other hard to find retro games that I'm significantly less knowledgeable about. If you are interested in arcade gaming at all, this is a MUST go if you are in the state of Idaho. Like, drive 50 miles out of your way to go here, it's so amazing. Did I also mention this is all 5 dollars?!?! I'm actually shocked that they are able to make a profit with the difficulty of maintenance and part sourcing for some of this weird machines. On another note, every person I've played rhythm games with here has been super nice, which is not always the case in some places (Akiba, etc), So definitely a plus! I love this place and every time I am back in Idaho I will visit it as much as humanly possible.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. From classic arcade games like Qbert, Mrs. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong Jr to Rhythm games, racing games and even pinball machines, this place has everything. Outside food is allowed, there are even tables and chairs to sit down and take a small rest. Indoor restroom and water fountains, along with cash only vending machines, this place has you covered. There are multiple sets of racing games that you can do solo play or head to had against friends or other guests. If you have a small one, they have some stepstools to give them a leg up. My favorite part was finding a Die Hard arcade cabinet. Haven't seen one of these since the late 90's. If you get a chance, it is $5 well spent.
Honestly a lot better than I expected. The owner is very friendly and also owns the anime shop next door. 5$ total per person age 3+ and a good amount of arcade games from the 80s to more modern like an undertale themed game. There are a couple games that are still in Japanese so maybe having some translations on the side would be nice for some of the basic controls. They also have a party room you can reserve which is nice as well. Expect to hear a lot of noise, it is an arcade after all.
I love bringing my kids here for multiple reasons. Always a good vibe, fun games to play, it's clean and well kept, safe place to enjoy all kinds of games that is actually priced so well.
