John Jay Automotive is one of the most honest and reliable auto repair shops I’ve visited. They explain everything clearly, give straightforward recommendations, and never try to upsell unnecessary work. John Jay Automotive is my go to for any Automotive repairs, questions, etc. Their staff are always incredibly courteous, very knowledgeable and most importantly honest. THey are clearly looking to solve/repair the problem in a high quality way at teh lowest cost for you. You will never feel pressured and always feel heard. I highly recommend them for all of your auto repair needs.
John Jay just did a 100,000 review and service of my 2003 Silverado. They performed a very thorough review and then told me what needed to be done now, what could wait, and what to watch. The services they performed were done timely and for less than I expected. I’ve been using them for years and never disappointed.
Mike and Mac are awesome at John Jay! I was well taken care of. I had 2 cars completely fixed in 2 days. They were honest and showed incredible integrity. They completed both jobs fad only did the necessary repairs. Mac kept me updated through the entire process and was great at explaining everything they were doing to each vehicle. Being a single woman is a challenge when taking your car in, but I never felt taken advantage of and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! Go to John Jay! You will be happy with the outcome! I promise!
I was planning on taking my vehicle in for other issues prior to moving out of state and the Universe decided to inhibit my procrastination. I had researched mechanics and when my vehicle broke down, I called John Jay Automotive. Mike is amazing. He was kind, patient as I made all of the random noises that my vehicle made, advised a tow and as I didn’t need it back immediately looked at the other issues also. The other shop told me I needed A LOT more work done on my vehicle for A LOT more money. Mike assessed everything with the understanding that I’m moving to a cold weather state, made the necessary repairs and provided nationwide warranties. He advised things to do once I’m settled just to be more comfortable in a new environment and is genuinely a wonderful person. The prices are beyond reasonable and yes, there will be some sticker shock but compared to the cost of a new vehicle, with similar mileage, payments, interest, etc it’s well worth the cost. Maintenance saves money in the long run and it’s the price of ownership. Thank you Mike and John Jay for exceptional service, prices and just being great people! Ten stars!!!
