Jones Law Firm did an amazing job taking over my case after I had to terminate my first law firm for borderline malpractice. I was breaking away from a narcissistic, abusive relationship and William Garvey and his paralegal Rachael were patient with my ignorance and thorough with their work and also, as anyone in such a position in life needs, very kind. I highly recommend them if you find yourself in a similar situation. They will take care of you.

Lucy is the worst person to have represent you. 20 plus thousand dollars just for her to say I owe her even more before she'll go to the last court date. Nothing was submitted and I had to do everything on my own. A complete waste of time and money. Stay away! Especially men!
Had an amazing experience! Jimena and Jacki were a great team for me. They got back to me in a timely manner and were so kind and helpful in a difficult child custody battle and divorce. Would highly recommend!
If you are in danger and need an EMERGENCY ORDER OF PROTECTION , DO NOT use this firm. They left me in danger from my abusive spouse, ignored my request for protection. They would not do it unless I paid the $7,500. Steven Hill also revealed to my exes attorney that I had “evidence in my possession” WHILE I WAS STILL LIVING WITH HIM AND OUR CHILDREN in the house, he ended up tearing up my room looking for the evidence … because my own attorney told him I was in possession!!!! Needless to say things quickly got scary and I went to court and filed MY OWN PROTECTION ORDER, it was approved and thank god they served it immediately. In addition, my Attorney’s Jessica Crawford and Steven Hill never served my husband with the divorce papers. I found out 2 weeks later that he had not been served, yet they were trying to negotiate for me to meet my estranged husband and turn my children over to him with a protection order in place that requires him to stat 100 feet away from me, this is an obvious conflict that could have had an incredibly negative impact to my safety and would have been a violation of my protection order… yet they encouraged it… again… my husband had not even been served, therefore was not legally a part of my case. The unprofessional and abysmal way my case was handled is shocking to me. I’m truly baffled how they failed so entirely to represent my best interests. Also, there were several items on my bill that never even happened. I was billed for whole conversations with people i never even spoken too. Of course when I caught it, It was adjusted.. but how did this happen?? Can’t help but feel they were practicing predatory billing practices. Do not hire this firm. None of the positive reviews address the actual attorneys only the paralegals and support staff. I never once met a person on their team yet $4000… POUF!! UPDATE: Modern Family Law!! I wish I interviewed more firms. Especially ones that specialize with defending women. Zack Levi… Modern Family Law, was on the case, engaged. He actually asked to meet me in person *gasp!!! He calls me… on the phone!!! WOW!! Emails and text communication??? NO WAY!!? He advocates…. For ME????!!! How can this be?! I thought I was supposed to be ignored and dismissed completely time and time again after my experience with Jones Law Firm. But I learned that, my concern and my case were valid, once I hired proper representation. I echo the other reviews stating this is not a firm for women. This firm protect men, even if their client is a woman. LAST UPDATE: With my new attorney at Modern Family Law Group, I successfully gained my Permanent Protection Order….yes…the order that Jones Law Group would not file on my behalf without me paying them $7,500….this apparently….is the cost to keep me safe. I consider Steven Hills multiple failures in my case REPUGNANT.
