The quality of the work is average. However, this salon is not honest and transparent with pricing. They charged me almost twice what is listed on the website for the service. The itemized receipt includes a service that is not even listed on their website and was not explained to me. There are no shortage of good hair salons in Rochester. I’d suggest taking your business to a more transparent salon.
Julianna and her team truly went above and beyond to make my hair look amazing. Julianna is such a kind and sweet person. Extremely skilled stylist. Very appreciative of all the work she put into my curly hair!

Every single client who’s had their hair done at Julianna Salon has left absolutely thrilled — their hair looked amazing for the photoshoot and stayed perfect for a night out afterward. Whether it’s long and curly or short and spiky, the stylists at Julianna know exactly how to create a look that flatters and lasts. I highly recommend Julianna Salon for their professionalism, artistry, and true mastery of their craft!
I had the best experience at the South Ave salon! Amerie was warm and welcoming and gave me a great haircut. I was nervous about cutting my long hair short but I told her exactly what I was looking for and she delivered! Will definitely be going back!
I’ve been seeing Melissa for probably almost two years now, and she’s so great to work with! She is so sweet, takes her time, makes sure I feel good about everything she’s doing, and always makes great conversation! I always love my hair when I leave. The salon itself is really cute too.
