This place is a scam - don't waste your time or money! Used them in the spring and then paid them to have my winter tires & rims stored over the summer. Called to book an appt to get the winters installed and that took over 2 weeks (because my tires were in storage). Showed up for the appt and they told me they couldn't install the winter tires (that I had paid them to store) because they were no longer safe (even though they were totally fine last winter).
Amazing, fast service. I called them and literally 10 minutes later my car was already on the lift being worked on. I was missing a lug nut and they installed it super quickly with no hassle at all. Staff was very helpful and efficient. Really appreciate how fast and smooth everything was — definitely recommend this location.
Do not recommend. Terrible experience. Left my car on Thursday with a flat tire, was told to pick it up on Sunday at 4:30pm. Got there and the car was in the exact same place with a flat tire. I was told it would be treated as priority and to come back on Monday. I called them several times on Monday to get a human on the phone and was told that the tire hasn’t been replaced yet and that I’d need to get 2 new front tires because of the alignment and balance. I said that was impossible, they can balance and align the car with only one new tire and that I was not going to pay for 2 new tires. I never heard back and, after calling several times earlier today to get someone on the phone, when I finally did they said they’d check and call me back. No one ever did (as I suspected) and when I showed up there at 2:30pm today the tire hadn’t been yet. I said that I was going to pick up my car today and that they needed to get it done now because it had been 7 days already to put one single new tire on. They not only tried to sell me stuff I don’t need but never called back, never pick up the phone and take forever to change one single tire. The crew is respectful and has good intentions but my impression is that they’re lost, disorganized, overworked and don’t focus on quality of service.
Bought my new winter tires recently from this location but provided my own rims. These guys totally forgot to/straight up didn't balance the tires. One was sitting at 10 psi and the one kiddy corner was sitting at 15 psi. Not to be too conspiratorial, but I suspect it's because I opted not to have them do anything related to my alignment or brakes that they were trying to upsell me on. Anyway, do better Kal Tire mechanics! Front desk guys were nice.
Had a flat tire first thing in the morning as I was heading to work. Called Kal Tire and even though they were busy, they told me to come by as a walk-in. The check-in process with Aidan was smooth and professional — he made everything easy. I left the car with them and came back a few hours later to find they had found a nail in the tire, removed it, and fully repaired it for just $60. No unnecessary upsells, just honest and efficient service. Really appreciated how straightforward and helpful the whole experience was. Highly recommend this location!
