This is the best Karate place in Canberra no doubt. My son joined the Dojo in 2022 and he loves since the first day! The trainers are amazing and focus on technical details to ensure students follow the correct moves. It provided great discipline and sensei Reece is a very strict on behaviours and skill movement. It has a family oriented environment. Sensei Reece look after everyone with care and respect. I recommend this Dojo with no hesitation.
Cummings Karate Dojo in Mitchell is a fantastic place to train. The instructors are friendly, patient, and really know their stuff. They’re great with both kids and adults, and they make everyone feel welcome no matter their level. The classes are well run but relaxed, with a good mix of discipline, fitness, and fun. There’s a strong sense of community at the dojo, and you can tell they genuinely care about helping students build confidence and skills, not just learn karate moves. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great karate dojo in the ACT 👍🥋
Training in this dojo is always rewarding and fun. The instructors are respectful and helpful. The senior students are also encouraging and happy to mentor. I recommend it to mature people like myself and it's fantastic for the kids to develope strength and learn discipline and respect.
I highly recommend The Kodokan Cummings Karate Dojo. The teaching is absolutely fantastic and the instructors are supportive, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what they do. My 8-year-old son has been training here for the last few years and he absolutely loves it. Over that time, he has learnt so much not only karate techniques, but also how to defend himself, show respect to others, and develop self-control and discipline. It’s been amazing to see his confidence grow both inside and outside the dojo. We couldn’t be happier with the positive impact this dojo has had on him. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and encouraging environment for our children.
A nurturing Dojo that teaches and is intimately connected to traditional Okinawan Karate and its teachings. The Matsubayashi Ryu learnings are continua,l no matter where you are on the journey. It's a great Karate school with fabulous teachers and systems. Highly recommended.
