As a photographer myself, and someone who’s both behind the camera and in front of it regularly, I don’t take choosing a photographer lightly. While I had the option of capturing my own headshots, I knew what I really wanted was to be fully present, not thinking about lighting, framing, or execution. I needed someone I could completely trust so I could just show up and emote. And that person is 100% Katy Weaver. Katy is truly a photographer’s favorite photographer. Her technical skill is incredible, and she’s extremely intuitive and collaborative. She knows exactly how to guide you while still making everything feel natural and effortless. I felt so at ease the entire time, to the point that I didn’t even sneak a peek at the photos as we were shooting because I trusted what she was capturing. The final images feel elevated, intentional, and fully capture me! If you’re considering booking her, you’re in very good hands.
