We were getting an E23 message on our Bosch dishwasher indicating a drainage issue. As it turned out we needed to replace the drain pump. The service rep quickly diagnosed the problem, came prepared with the part on his truck and replaced the defective pump. So far, so good.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company due to ongoing communication failures and repeated appointment issues. My order arrived on 12/19/25. When I called, I was told I would receive my appointment information via text once it was scheduled. Their automated system stated that texting was the fastest way to reach them. However, every time I texted, I received the same generic response saying someone would contact me by the end of the day with scheduling details. No one followed up on 12/19, nor on 12/22, 12/23, or 12/24. I was also unable to reach anyone by phone on 12/26. On 12/29, I finally spoke with Annie, who scheduled an installation appointment for 12/31/25. On the morning of the appointment, I received a text at 5:00 a.m. stating that my appointment would be canceled if I did not confirm by 9:00 a.m. I confirmed at 7:30 a.m., but shortly after, at 7:40 a.m., I received another message stating my appointment was canceled. When I called, I was told the technician had called out. I was also informed that although they have multiple technicians, only two service my Contra Costa County area and that my refrigerator installation requires two technicians. Annie rescheduled me for 01/02/25 and stated she would text me the appointment details, but I never received any confirmation. On the morning of 01/02/25, I woke up to no communication and called as soon as they opened. I was then told my appointment had been moved to Monday, 01/05, without any notice. When I expressed my frustration, the representative disconnected the call. I called back and again spoke with Annie, who was apologetic but ultimately unable to resolve the issue. She explained that no technicians were willing to travel to my area to complete the installation. This entire experience was for a simple refrigerator installation—not a repair or diagnostic appointment. The lack of communication, repeated cancellations, and inability to service my area in a reasonable timeframe is unacceptable. If you live in Contra Costa County, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Their communication is poor, appointments are unreliable, and cancellations often happen on the day of service. I do not recommend this company. Annie, being as polite as she was, is the only reason I gave them 1 star.
Kerenza Appliance Repair was very responsive and set up my appointment quickly. José, my first repairman, was very knowledgeable about my not-so-typical Ilve Range. He helped me optimize how it was working and ordered a part for the oven door seal, which had broken. When it was in they came right back and the next repairperson fixed it in minutes. The only glitch was the scheduling system the first time around. I had a longstanding dental appointment and though I shared this, the appointment was in my window. It all worked out because of José's flexibility. I had insurance and that piece was seamless from my end. Highly recommend!
speed queen washer needed a new circuit board after repairman solved on first visit. he was back 2 days later to replace it and the washer is working now. the company called to make appointment both times and repairman came during prescribed time. very happy with their overall service. machine was still under warranty so we were not billed for anything.
I would give zero stars if I could. LThis business is a SCAM! Back in August, I contacted this business was to repair my Samsung dishwasher. They ask for funds up front to order parts, only for the part to be wrong. Several weeks go by, and finally the incompetent repair person tried to tell me they fixed the broken part, only to be left with a broken dishwasher. I've called for several weeks to remidiate this issue, only to be told that they will get back to me. I'm now out $360 and still have a broken dishwasher. They lie and will take your money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY -- You WIlL get scammed by these people.
