Awesome kids hair salon. Recently Jenn has done my kid's hair but Debra and Coleen have been also really cool. I've been very happy with this place.
My 1 year old went to get his first haircut by Bonita and this is now our go to spot! There were other kids in there getting haircuts or playing around having so much fun. The inside is very kid friendly and inviting! We were instantly greeted with smiles and Bonita did a BEAUTIFUL job especially with my little one constantly moving around. They have tvs with netflix at each station and she asked what he likes to watch (of course Ms. Rachel was the choice lol) Bonita had a forever customer now!
Colleen M is absolutely amazing! She was is kind, patient, and made my child feel very comfortable during the haircut. The service was excellent, and the salon is clean and welcoming. You can tell Colleen truly loves working with kids and takes pride in her work. I highly recommend her and this salon to any parent looking for a great experience
Update from my husband’s post: I wanted to share my own experience after what happened today. When my husband left his review, the owner personally texted us calling us “tasteless” and speaking down to us for mentioning another local business. I actually would have encouraged him to delete the review if she’d reached out respectfully, but the tone of that message confirmed everything we felt in the salon… defensiveness instead of care. I don’t leave one-star reviews lightly, but professionalism and basic kindness matter, especially when you’re working with families. UPDATE: The first time there was a mix-up with the appointment time and you gave us the incorrect time. I can take accountability that this time it was my mistake, but Olga has been rude to us twice now. As a business owner myself with over 200K followers on social media, I know how important it is to treat customers with kindness and respect even when an error happens. The previous time your mistake was not addressed, and today felt like the same pattern. Even if it was my mistake, I was already nervous for what happened last time. From my perspective, had Olga simply been kind and understanding, none of this would have become a big deal. I have a thriving business and truly bigger things to focus on, but I will not overlook repeated disrespect.
I wanted to donate my hair, but because I am partially grey, it was difficult to find an organization that will take the hair. I found an organization, Wigs for Kids. They give a list of salons you can go to donate your hair. Kinderland was one of the choices. It was a great experience. My stylist Tatyana was wonderful and all of the staff made me feel welcome even though it was mainly a salon for kids cuts. I am going to go back for regular hair trims. Highly recommend this salon if you are getting your childs hair cut. It is fun and entertaining for them while they get their hair cut!
