Didn't realize I was paying mostly for rice 🥺👎🏻
Bought this cake from the OB location to celebrate a birthday. To our surprise after cutting into it, we discovered it was molded. It was suppose to be vanilla cake inside. As you can see the grey/green molds has spread to both layers. We chose the cake at the back of the refrigerated display. I assume the cakes in the front probably are molded as well. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
The staff is seriously understaffed and completely uninterested. I had to wait way too long at the register, even though there were only a couple of people ahead of me. Prices are noticeably higher compared to similar places nearby, but you don’t get the quality or customer service to justify it. For what you’re paying, you’d expect at least decent service but that’s not the case here. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and definitely not worth coming back for.
Always excellent products and superb customer service! Incredible fresh refrigerated gnocchi and out of this world slices of desserts in the front cold case from a bakery in LA. They also have absolutely stunning fresh flowers that last. Ever since Apple Tree was taken over by new management a few years ago and changed its name to Krisp, the store has been transformed for the infinitely better!
Wonderful customer service amazing.dog friendly!pizza, amazing with the sides, chili cheeseburgers amazing.. they have some of the best tuna fish subs in San Diego ca best by far in ocean beach if you down in OB it’s a must try !
