I’m in my late 40s, and over time I’ve really come to appreciate custom, unique things—especially pieces that reflect personality. You can express that through cars, tattoos, how you decorate your home, and for me, jewelry has become one of my favorite outlets. It started about five years ago when my wife found a simple silver bracelet at an estate sale. I’ve worn it every day since. Before that, I didn’t wear anything—not even my wedding ring. That bracelet was the beginning. Now I wear a watch, two bracelets, and two rings. Josh has previously designed three custom rings for my wife, and when we started working on her fourth, I decided to design one for myself as well. Josh uses digital renderings and 3D printing during the design process, which in my opinion is the only way to do custom jewelry. Being able to see and refine the piece before it’s made is invaluable. The result? Two absolutely blow-you-away custom rings—wildly different from anything you’ll ever see in a retail jewelry store. I also want to point out that pricing is very comparable to retail. If a rose gold ring with 30 small diamonds costs around $12k in a traditional store, Josh’s custom-designed rose gold ring of the same weight and diamond count is right in that same range—you just get it exactly how you want it. Highly recommend. I’ll continue spending my hard-earned money with them. In a world where social media pushes the same ideas and products to everyone, do yourself a favor: be unique and create—or curate—your own life.
Kroman Jewelry was incredible to work with from start to finish. My fiancé and I came in with ideas for a custom engagement ring, and Josh guided us through the entire design process with creativity and genuine care. He listened closely to what we wanted and managed to design the ring we had imagined—down to every detail. The final piece is absolutely perfect and even more beautiful than we expected. Anna at Kroman Jewelers was fantastic. I had gone to another jeweler asking that before I leave a diamond engagement ring with him, could we look under the microscope to verify the GIA number; he gave me a bizarre response saying if I was going to be skeptical I could go find another jeweler. Well I did—I called Kroman. Anna was very understanding from the onset. She didn’t understand why a jeweler would have an issue just verifying the authenticity of a diamond before leaving it. She showed it to me under a microscope and wrote it down on a receipt for me. The jewelers got the engagement ring resized and engraved quickly for family events we had coming up and for a fair price. The owner was friendly as well. Overall just a great experience here and they have earned our trust and business! Thank you Anna and Kroman Jewelers for a great job and working with us.
I damaged my ring while moving furniture and my jeweler told me it was damaged beyond repair - looked for a second opinion with Kroman and it’s back to new. The prongs look better attached than originally. I appreciate it so much! Thank you! I look forward to coming back for something custom!
Josh was fantastic to work with. Knowledgable, creative, and flexible, he walked us through the process with complete transparency. He designed the first ring which was stunning, and rolled with the punches when we changed direction completely on style (we inherited a ring with the same style and we wanted this one to be totally different in feel.) We love our ring. The craftsmanship and quality is bar none. And now that Josh is in his new location, he is the ultimate one stop shop for appraisals, designs, repairs, and productions.
