Made a reservation (2 months in advance) here for my anniversary dinner, and it did not disappoint! Our server was courteous and did a great job walking us through the menu. Highlights were the lobster tempura, mackerel and truffle nigiri, crab cakes, and the dark chocolate miso mouse dessert. Everything came out fresh, delicious, and promptly. They also offered us champagne on the house to celebrate our special night. 10/10 recommend next time you’re in the mood for something fancy!
Kru never disappoints when it comes to quality and presentation! The sashimi is incredibly fresh, with each piece perfectly sliced and beautifully arranged — you can tell they take pride in every detail. The presentation is truly artful, making each dish look as good as it tastes. If you’re a sushi lover who appreciates freshness and creativity, Kru is one of the best spots in Sacramento. Highly recommended for both casual sushi nights and special occasions! 🍣✨
Make a reservation in advance. Nice business meet up location or social meet up at the bar. Food was yummy, but not a WHOA like everyone says. This is not a bad thing, I just think people talk it up too much (my personal opinion). Sushi had their own trust, but pricey for what was served. The service and atmosphere was good. We asked the server for multiple recommendations on drinks and food, and she was RIGHT ON. I loved her knowledge of the menu and food suggestions. The atmosphere was a little loud so the server missed a couple things we asked for and we were placed at a table by the door so we couldn't hear each other as well as we would've like, but we were there for a business meeting. The snickers bad dessert was amazing. We had a reservation so there wasn't a wait.
Great dining experience for dinner. Need a reservation and ours was late at 9 (place was still busy). Gyoza was excellent, crispy skin on one side was exceptional. Lobster tempura was the star. Pork belly and peaches was great. Rolls were fresh, great texture. Overall recommend
Fabulous food, quality is excellent and fresh. We had 8 dishes to share. We did not have any sushi rice. We decided to have sashimi, smaller variety of dishes. All excellent. Our server, Clay was charming, attentive, and made the evening special. Highly recommend this place for special occasions.
