I have been to this location before when it was called Thai Garden, but I felt my meal tonight was more memorable than prior visits. Food was excellent! The portion sizes were smaller than I had hoped because I finished eating my Kua Gling quickly and wished there was more because it was so delicious. A bit expensive for the portion size that you get. Drinks were also great. Lots of specialty cocktails on the menu. I have a generally high spice tolerance, but found the “hot” (level 3 out of 4) to be quite spicy, which I enjoyed personally but if you do not like heat, I would advise you to pick a milder spice level here. We also got the mango sticky rice which was served warm — we enjoyed it!
Halal Thai restaurant 100% authentic Thai foods we are trying different dishes that I don't cook Thai foods at home very delicious also Krua Thai have Halal Sushi for Sushi lovers we will try Sushi next time. We went to Krua as a group of five with friends and family, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The vegetarian options were excellent; full of flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced in terms of spice and freshness. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can genuinely taste the care and thought that goes into the food. The ambience was warm and elegant, the service was attentive and friendly, and the cocktails were outstanding. Everything felt thoughtfully done, without being over the top. What truly made the evening special was meeting Susan, the owner. She personally took the time to speak with us, explain her vision for the future of the restaurant and the upcoming revamp, and it was inspiring to hear how much passion she has for what she’s building. She is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and welcoming; it really adds a personal touch to the entire experience. We had a fantastic evening and left feeling happy, well-fed, and genuinely impressed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Thai food, wonderful service, and a lovely atmosphere.
10/10 best new restaurant of 2025. Fantastic sushi and excellent Thai food and high-end bar all in one beautiful location. The atmosphere is elegant with a twist of east Asia. Really wonderful vibe. The sushi is top notch with some inventive rolls for those of you tired of the same same. The bar has anything you need and then a long list of Asian fusion drinks. The Tokyo old fashioned is on point. Smokey and sweet at the same time. As for Thai food - this is the best spot in Houston. I’m a “Thai-hard fan” - I visit Thailand frequently and speak Thai. I have been to almost all the Thai spots in HTX. This is Thai food you will want more of every day. As real as Thai food can get with US ingredients. The Thai menu has food from all four areas of Thailand (all as different as Tex mex is from Cajun and New England) From not spicy to Thai spicy- the aroma and intricate smell and taste will amaze your palate. Multi layers of happy. The mango sticky rice dessert was the sweet end of me. Don’t miss out on this spot!
Beautiful presentation of the food and drinks, and very tasty and authentic! We had the flower dumplings (so beautiful!), shrimp dumplings, salmon nigiri set, spicy salmon roll, and pad see ew. My fav drink was Yuzu lemon but I substituted gin instead of vodka. It was a very nice evening! Great service! Easy parking too!
