La Famiglia Winery es una operación familiar ubicada en el sótano de una casa en Columbia Station, en 26095 Nichols Rd. Dirigida por una pareja de esposos, ofrece una vibra íntima de estilo antiguo con toques rústicos toscanos, un bar, asientos, una chimenea y un baño. Un pequeño viñedo en el patio trasero complementa vinos, desde cabernets robustos y pinot grigios hasta Chardonnay, acompañados de pastas caseras y pizzas cocidas en horno de leña; la música en vivo durante los fines de semana añade calidez y hospitalidad.

La Famiglia Winery is a slice of Italian paradise in Columbia Station! This family-owned gem offers an authentic taste of old-world winemaking, with rich, handcrafted wines that pair perfectly with their homemade pastas and wood-fired pizzas. The rustic Tuscan ambiance—complete with vineyard views and cozy fire pits—makes every visit feel like a getaway. The owners pour their heart into every detail, from the robust Cabernets to the crisp Pinot Grigios, and their warm hospitality makes you feel like part of the family. Live music on weekends and events like grape-stomping festivals add to the charm. A must-visit for wine lovers craving tradition, flavor, and a touch of magic!

Unexpectedly lovely. This winery is in the basement of a local home near Strongsville. it is literally in a residential area. The outdoor decor is very nice, and neat as a pin. They have lights and signage to let you know you’re at the right house. They even have a small vineyard growing in the backyard.. Upon entering the door to the winery, you will find yourself in a stairwell with stairs going down to the basement. Once you’re in the basement you will immediately forget you are in a basement. It is quite a spacious and comfortable area with lots of tables and couches, a fireplace, a bar, and a bathroom. There’s even a section where they make the wine in steel barrels. It’s very cozy, charming, friendly and clean. The host/owners are extremely friendly. It seems that the owner’s family is from Northern Italy and we enjoyed talking to them. The Wine itself far exceeded my expectations. We tasted three reds plus the Chardonnay, and we enjoyed all of it. The blueprint red blend was my favorite followed by the Chardonnay. I’m a bit of a Wine snob and I typically don’t like Ohio wine. However, I was pleasantly surprised…okay…if we’re being honest…actually shocked…that all the wine we tasted was excellent. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about La Famiglia winery!
