Talked to them last week about all the high end gear I wanted installed and they told me to bring it in to look at it so they can give me a quote. Today I ask if I can bring it in and they tell me they don't install gear not bought at their store. I guess it depends on who you talk to but not a good look with the sudden change in policy from staff members. Told me they don't make money if they don't sell something anyone else can get online for half the price. Happy to not have walked into that mess, no integrity and a lack of professionalism.
I called in, spoke with Scott, and briefly described my problem- the head unit was working, but for some reason my amp was not turning on. He said swing by when I could. Upon arriving, he came out to inspect the situation and within about 90 seconds discovered I had a blown fuse. What's funny is the fuse looked perfectly fine! Scott explained that this type of fuse- although it looks good- can deteriorate over time and become non-functional. He took a moment and used a multi-meter to demonstrate. I then purchased a higher-grade fuse and was on my way. Great team over there! I would definitely seek their help again!!
Their service is really amazing! They have much more experience than the car dealership. Honestly, my dealership once charged me $5,000 to fix a tiny problem, but this store repaired it perfectly for less than one-tenth of that! Big W for them!
These guys are 5 stars for a reason. If you call around you’ll find cheaper prices for certain installs but you get what you pay for here. Donald has helped me fix horribly installed radios where I tried to save money. He has also installed a rear camera that produced some issues but every time he responded quickly, handled it and made 100% certainI was taken care of. The best customer service LA Jolla Audio!
