My friend and I came here for dinner. We ordered the tamales, but they were out of chicken that we originally wanted. We go the carnitas, and we both thought they were a little dry and not very flavorful. I ordered the ceviche and the presentation was fabulous, but again, it was missing flavor. I was hoping for a more bright citrusy flavor. Lastly, we ordered chips with guacamole, pico, and the red mild spice sauce. They chips were different, not bad, but had a little sweetness to them. The guacamole was great! The service was a little slow and they did have to correct our order, as it came out incorrectly.
Excellent food and service! We dined here before a show at the Guthrie and were delighted by the food especially the outstanding salsa and chips. I had the mix and match tacos, Cali style, and they were fresh and tasted wonderful. We also had their Cadillac margarita and I also had a custom margarita with Mezcal. Excellent Our waiter was prompt and very helpful especially when I asked for help choosing salsa flavors and the mezcal marg. I would dine here again for sure before a Guthrie show.
I got a pescado taco, carnitas taco, and chicken tinga taco street style. They were all good. I really liked the pescado! The carnitas one was a little bland. Service was excellent. Friendly staff. I also got one of their margaritas. It was tasty. I was dining alone so appreciated the speedy service. If you are in the area, I recommend you give them a try!
I live nearby and finally stopped by this place—really glad I did. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, and the drinks were solid. We went for happy hour on a Friday, and the oysters were a standout. The wings were perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside. Everything was so good that we’re planning to return next week to try more of the menu.
My experience here was a very positive one! My wife and I both loved the food. The quesadillas were to die for and the chips with salsa and queso were fantastic as well. I haven’t found better Mexican food this far north than at this joint. The atmosphere was great with music at just the right volume and plenty of natural light. In addition, our waitress was very helpful, kind and attentive. 10/10 I’d come back here again.
