My partner and I visited this store yesterday. My partner is Hispanic and we were treated with unexpected disrespect when the owner (Billy Briggs) made anti-Hispanic comments towards my partner. We recently moved to the area to work at St Jude as physicians. As professionals who value respect and inclusion, we were shocked by the experience. We've since shared what happened with friends and colleagues so they're aware as well. Discrimination has no place in any business, and we hope this helps others make informed choices.
I’ve shopped at La Maison Antiques many times over the past 10 years and always have a great experience. We stopped by yesterday and had a wonderful visit as always. La Maison has such a great variety of carefully curated home decor, antiques, and even gift options that are all reasonably priced. They have so many vendors under one roof, which makes it the perfect spot to shop local! I always find something every time I stop by! Yesterday when I visited, the lady at the register was so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend La Maison Antiques!
This place has far too many incredible things. Truly made me want to redecorate my entire house. When I finally decided upon the items I wanted, they provided a list of delivery people who can help get my new items to my house. They were kind and pleasant from start to finish.
My wife bought a beautiful antique dining room table from this establishment. The two men working the front desk couldn’t have been nicer, even helping us load it out and wrapping it in cellophane for the ride home. Very conversational and super nice. This is the second item she has purchased from there and we drove down from Kentucky to do so.
