What a great spot. For starters the employees were super friendly and interactive which was nice. The brisket sandwich was delicious, very tasty meat with great flavor. The omelette was delicious, the salsa they serve is superb, very flavorful. Great spot and inside the La Violeta Village area near everything.
The friendliest staff!! Really felt like eating a home cooked meal. They were very attentive and just had the brightest attitudes. My matcha was AMAZING! Much better than I expected for a small local cafe. A must try if passing through the Villita
This is a great little place and a nice break from Tex-Mex when you're in the area. The Hangover Burger was absolutely perfect. The chicken salad was tasty. The service was friendly and the location and atmosphere was quite fun and enjoyable. We will certainly return.
We became temporary regulars of this little cafe. The foods were so good everytime and it soon became our go-to breakfast spot. The servers were kind, remembered us and sometimes gave us a little discount for returning. The food was always spot on. I had lunch here many times, The brisket wrap was so so good. No comments to make, I loved it. The brisket biscuit Benedict was always perfect, cooked to perfection and our poached eggs were always 10/10. Really well done, and we ate this day after day for breakfast. Pancakes were good! The tacos were okay, I probably wouldn’t get them again. They weren’t my favourite. Coffee was always good, chai latte was great. I’m gunna miss this place :(
I had such a great experience at La Villita Cafe this morning! The iced latte was absolutely delicious—smooth, flavorful, and you can tell they use high-quality coffee beans. The breakfast sandwich was incredible, with a buttery croissant, perfectly cooked eggs, and savory ham. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The area itself added to the charm—perfect for a relaxing morning meal. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, excellent coffee, and a warm, inviting vibe.
