This restaurant is absolutely delicious and perfectly located right in the heart of Little Italy. It is literally less than 50 feet away from the Little Italy sign in San Diego, which makes the experience even better. The concept is a great homage to Italian street food. The pasta is served very fast, almost like grabbing tacos on the street in Mexico, quick, casual, and incredibly tasty. The pizza is excellent, full of flavor and very well prepared. Overall, the quality to price ratio is outstanding. It is the perfect spot if you want to eat something really good, without waiting too long, and then continue walking and enjoying everything Little Italy has to offer.
Used to come here every week for pizza because it reminded me almost like NYC pizza. I moved away from SD, but I’m back for the week and of course had to stop by. Sadly… 😩😩😩 total letdown. The pizza was off and had zero flavor.. Noooooo.!!!!! Not sure if they changed owners or what’s going on, but it definitely wasn’t the same. And to top it off, the guy behind the counter wasn’t exactly friendly 🤷🏽♀️. Really hoping this was just an off day
All was perfect, the two of pasta dishes were incredibly amazing taste, the texture great. Cozy restaurant in the second floor, sophisticated. Christmas decorations as well. The waiter impressed to us, great service.
Stopped in this gem during a little italy food tour and loved the family style of comfort, casual feel with high end authentic Italian food. Highly recommend, this was once visited by president Obama and even had a special room dedicated to the president. Enjoy!
I had already been to this place before to try their pizza, but this time I ordered delivery because it was late and I was craving something tasty. Honestly, everything was amazing, I loved it! Now I know exactly where to order from next time I want something delicious at night. I also ordered the pesto pasta, and I totally forgot to take a picture because as soon as I tasted it, I loved it and just kept eating. I didn’t realize until I had already finished it! So I guess that means it did its job really well! 😂
