Amazing food and service. Everything tastes very fresh. I had the sangria tropical as well. It's one of the best and most refreshing cocktails I've had in a while. Definitely would go back. (Also I took the picture halfway through eating it, because I know I wanted to leave a review because how tasty it was.)
This place offers a solid taco experience, with flavorful fillings that satisfy. The chicken pozole is a comforting and tasty option, but it would benefit from a more generous portion of chicken to truly shine. An overall great spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
You know sometimes pictures don’t do the beauty and the taste of food justice. Las Guerreras exceeded my expectations and is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area having ate at numerous spots in SFC. They are worth the trip to Oakland and the Swan Market. I can appreciate quality food made fresh y con amor. ❤️ Comida Mexicana autentica.
Located inside Swan’s Market in uptown Oakland. Serving Mexican food from the Guerrero region, stand out dishes include the crab tostada and mango coconut ceviche. Las Guerreras is run by a mother-daughter duo, and has recently expanded to include fresh ceviche offerings. The plantains are served Caribbean style, scratching that plantain itch I often get as a Colombiana. Good micheladas, too!
The best chilaquiles in the Bay Area, hands down!!! Can’t go wrong with red or green. We come here pretty consistently and are never disappointed. Mother/daughter Latina business. They are opening up a Cevicheria right next door for lunch and we can’t wait!
