I have gone to Last Tangle for the past several years and consistently have had a wonderful experience. I have gotten haircuts, highlights, and blow-outs from Sera and have always been very happy with the end result. Sera does incredible work! Even though I am a regular, she always makes sure to work in a consultation to know what exactly I'm looking for. Appointments are easy to book and I appreciate the salon's availability in the evenings on workdays.
Kim did a fantastic job with my haircut and balayage! She took the time to really understand my hair and what would look best on my complexion. She used high quality products to protect my hair from damage and gave great recommendations on caring for my hair at home. She’s got a new loyal client, I’d recommend Kim to anyone!
I've been coming to see Sera for balayage for a few years now, and she never misses. The color is always blended really well and looks seamless. And one of my favorite things about the way she colors is that it's very forgiving as it's growing out. My hair continues to look great in between appointments. On top of that, Sera is so warm, personable, and great to chat with. My visits are always relaxing and fun. Highly recommend Sera to anyone looking for balayage!
I cannot recommend Kim highly enough! When I was new to D.C. almost 10 years ago, I visited several salons looking for a stylist who would listen and I could trust. Since finding Kim, I haven't looked back! Kim does a great job, explains her process, and puts her clients at ease. For several years I only went to Kim for haircuts. A few years ago, I decided I was ready to change things up and color my hair for the first time. She answered my questions, gave me the confidence to go for it, and totally delivered. I love KIM!!!! Kim is a perfectionist. She has been doing hair for 20 years and treats every single client as if she’s doing her own hair. She is extremely well educated about hair. I asked for layers and she kindly explained how that would not look great with my pin straight hair. She gave me shag layers instead and she was so right, this suits my hair type so much better. I never worry about my hair looking uneven as she checks her work 4-5 times to make tweaks before she’s done. I love this woman. Amazing haircut each time.
