My first time at Laurel Smile Dentistry. My previous dentist cancelled me three times, and as 2025 ended on 31 December, Laurel Smile Dentistry took me in the same day. They were courteous and kind. I was able to get my teeth cleaned, rescheduled for a crown replacement, and referred to another service to treat an infection growing in the root of the tooth. They use state-of-the-art technology in this industry, and I am grateful to them for keeping my teeth and hygiene secure.
I am very dissatisfied with my experience. I was quoted $2,200 for a molar crown, with $1,700 out of pocket, which I believe is unreasonably high. At no point was I clearly informed about lower-cost options or advised that waiting until my insurance benefits reset could have significantly reduced my out-of-pocket expense. What made this worse is that I was told it would take up to four weeks to determine exactly how much my insurance would cover, yet this was communicated on the same day as my appointment, after I had already invested time and expected transparency. That information should have been provided upfront, not after the fact. Overall, I felt the pricing was excessive and the explanation of insurance coverage and alternatives was lacking. I left feeling pressured rather than informed, which is not acceptable when making a major financial healthcare decision.
Raphael and Marina both provide the best customer service. No matter how busy or hectic it gets, their warm smiles always brighten my day. I never have to wait long, the conversation is always enjoyable, and I always walk out with a smile. Thank you for making every visit a great experience!
I've been going to Laurel Smile for over 5 years now, and they are like friends. Their professionalism and patient care are top-notch! Dr. Sibhatu performed a crown inlay on my front tooth, and the level of detail he took to match the crown to my tooth was exceptional. Even when I thought it was great, he saw where it could be improved, down to matching the shape and color of the crown to my permanent teeth. Now, I get compliments about my teeth and smile all the time! Dr. Ha is great as well, and I look forward to seeing and chatting with my hygienist every six months. Matching
