Beautiful spot. Visiting Boise and was out exploring tonight and walked by. Nice vibes No menu or prices, $20 for a 6 wine tasting. I had two 4oz glasses of what he recommended and after all the “fees” came out to $30 before tip. Definitely pricey considering the quality of the wine. I wouldn’t recommend unless going for a tasting
Let me tell you about Les Bois Wines and the owner Ben because this place has become my 2nd home. That’s how incredible it is. I first walked into Les Bois Wines with my best friend in November 2022. In introduced myself to Ben by first name and we got to chatting throughout the night. I was in town for a job interview. Well, 2 months later, I accepted the offer and moved to Boise. After settling in, I walked back into Les Bois Wines and Ben recognized both me and my best friend again and called out to us by our first names. That is the level of dedication and service Ben brings to his customers and family at Les Bois Wines. Besides that, Ben is incredibly knowledgeable about wines from all over the world and brings the most charismatic energy to his wine bar every single time you walk through that door. I can’t recommend this place enough. Truly my favorite place in ALL of downtown Boise.
I cannot recommend Les Bois Wines enough. The owner, Benjamin, greeted me with such warmth. He is so passionate about what he does. The bar itself is beautiful. Unique decor, incredible music. Benjamin takes the time to explain each wine, and makes sure you like it before pouring more. I can't wait to go back!
Benjamin has absolutely transformed this space not only with a beautiful, welcoming, and warm aesthetic that caters to hanging out and enjoying downtown over a bottle or two with loved ones but his energy and enthusiasm will make you want to stay. The wines that he has on rotation are thoughtful, intentional, and freaking delicious. You will be able to try something that you never had before (or never heard of) and instantly fall in love with. Nothing about this space is pretentious. This is a wine bar for everyone and anyone can learn something new and fall in love with well made wines. Benjamin is highly engaging and a wealth of knowledge, not to mention hilarious and friendly. He is a well travelled winemaker with classical old world wine wisdom and the new gen attitude that wine is for everyone. Enjoy a tasting of his current flight for a small fee, buy a bottle with friends, or enjoy a glass. What ever you choose to do this place is a warm welcome to our lovey downtown scene and I couldnt recommend it more! A massive improvement and a great place to discover something new. You will find me here at least once a week (if not more)
