Some clumsy movers damaged my walnut desks, scraping and gouging their surfaces. I reached out to Les Gaspilleurs and was provided a very reasonable quote to repair and refinish them. Karel was transparent, communicative, and easy to work with. Most importantly, the finished product exceeded all expectations: I can truthfully say that my desks look better now than they did when they were brand-new!
Karel and his team were patient and helpful, and they rebuilt a beloved family heirloom with care and competence. The studio is clean and welcoming. We recommend them highly and hope to work with them again.

We had a dining table stained by Karel and couldn’t be more pleased. The craftsmanship is top-notch, the finish is flawless, and the turnaround time was on time, as initially agreed upon. Karel delivered wonderful service from start to finish - highly recommended!
I found this business online and Karel was prompt in his reply to me saying that they could do the work I was requesting - which was repairing two chairs and reupholstering a third - so all different tasks. Each was done very well and I'm happy with the service. The cost for doing the work was, to be honest, more than I had expected but I do know that high quality has a price. So no problem.
