We are grateful to have found Susie and Let’s Play Music. Our son is 4 and we recognized he had a gravitational pull to music as a toddler. I am so happy he has something uniquely his to develop (in a big family of older siblings). I’ve always loved music, too, but I’m learning a lot of music theory basics from attending these classes with him. There’s so much to learn and Susie is a patient, energetic, knowledgable teacher!

We have been attending music classes with Susie for almost two years and I have witnessed so much growth in my son during that time. As a boy who is frequently labeled as "shy", I believe these music classes have contributed to him growing in confidence and finding his voice. He loves singing the LPM songs in and outside of class, and has begun to grasp more complex music concepts through Susie's fun play-based learning style. We have loved playing music with Susie and are already looking forward to class next year!

My son is finishing his second year of the LPM program and he loves it and Ms. Susie. She is great at making each class fun and engaging, even for wiggly kids who may not have the longest attention span. The songs are catchy and actually fun to listen to at home or in the car, while also teaching musical concepts. Susie gives rewards for completing your practice at home and that has also been very motivating for my son. I feel very confident that after he finishes the program he'll be set up well not only for piano lessons, but as a young musician with a love of music and strong understanding of musical concepts.

Miss Susie is one of four Let’s Play Music teachers our kids have had over the past few years and we love her. She keeps class engaging and fun and is always positive in her interactions with the kids. My favorite thing about Miss Susie is how well she explains to parents why we are engaging in certain activities and the musical concepts that our kids are absorbing. I highly recommend her and the Let’s Play Music program fir anyone wanting to give their child a strong musical foundation jn a super fun and engaging environment!
