This barn is amazing. That's all I have to say. I have been here for 6 years and have had nothing but good experiences here. I ride with Corrie, who is amazing and has made me come so far from when I met her as a freshman in high school to now. Susan and her daughters, who own and run the facility are so sweet and I don't know if I can say I have met people who care more for horses than this group of people. Corrie and Susan work as a team and both team Ligara and team Triple Bar Stables mix in lessons and actvities. It doesn't feel like a show barn it feels like a family. Eveybody is so supportive, and I can't express the amount of individual care that goes into each horse on the property, whether it's a retired pasture horse or a showhorse in one of the training programs. My retired horse recently passed and the second he wasn't doing well they called me and I was out right away. There was already a vet called by Corrie, and both Susan's daughters were there the whole time standing with my mom and I. We were able to treat his issue and the girls continued to check on him every hour and text me updates. When he started not feeling well again the following day they called me again and when I arrived to the barn the vet was already there again, and both Sunan's daughters were hugging my horse. These people are amazing and love every horse, even if it isn't their own. This is a place to come if your horse is your family and you want the best care for them medically and athletically. I definitely recommend it.
My daughters have been with them for only a few months and they definitely love it. Corrie is doing such an amazing job and thanks to her excellent teaching style I see how my girls advance and make a very good progress in such a short time. I found one of my girls crying when a training session was canceled! They can’t wait to come back to training after finishing each lesson. The barn has lovely people and with Susan and her team you feel like you are with your family. The facilities are large with wonderful views of the hills. Highly recommend.
Beautiful facilities set up in an equine centric manner with the horses first. All amenities for any horses needs for working horses or other supportive care. Fabulous arena. Very wonderful staff! Everyone is passionate here. The horses seem so happy and healthy and enjoying their work and life at Ligara. Some of the most epic vistas and sun sets, wow the views of the hills east of Morgan Hill/Gilroy. Top notch
Susan and team are wonderful. First class facility in Morgan Hill. The horses are beautiful and well taken care of, the barn and arena are gorgeous. This is an excellent place for equestrian students who want to take their riding to the next level. I highly recommend Ligara Farms.
I've been riding at Ligara Farms for 3 years and it's been a great experience. Susan is a great teacher and is good at pushing you and encouraging you along the way to bring out the best of your ability. She listens to what you would like to work on and helps you reach your goals. Kirsten teaches my 8 year old daughter and she is an amazing teacher! My daughter really looks forward to her rides and Kirsten is great at being firm, but still fun. The facility is a beautiful and my horse loves his turn out there. I just wish it was closer to home, I'd be there every day if I could!
