Most of all, I love Ifat and Phyllis, I appreciate their wit, warmth and, of course, their helpful suggestions. Always a pleasure to visit the store and spend some time with them. One of the best shopping experiences for womenswear in Washington is at LiLitheFirst in Georgetown. The quality and styling of the garments is wonderful and I can visit the store with zero pressure to make a purchase . But I almost always do walk away with an item or two because the clothing , accessories and customer service is just so fine!
Favorite store of all time! Every item I've purchased is so unique and there's very little chance that you'll run into someone wearing the same item. Unfortunately, I discovered the store while visiting Washington DC and I live 4 hours away. But, no problem! The owner (who has become my personal shopper) has been so helpful in offering suggestions and honest evaluations on which items will work for me and sending them to me in a timely fashion. Another advantage of doing business with a small boutique is the personalized service that you receive. I cannot say enough accolades about Ifat, she's been so helpful and understanding but most of all, honest about the clothing that will fit my body type. I'm so grateful for all the assistance I've received!
LiLi The First is a true boutique, its hard to find an owner that works directly with all their national and international designers directly! Love the styles, and if you don't get it while its available then you've missed out. I HIGHLY recommend visiting the store and website .. many things look better tried on than in a photo or on a hanger.
