My daughter got her first haircut and was so scared but they were so calm and friendly talked to her the whole time. She loved it and now wants to go back! So happy and satisfied with them.
I hate to leave this review, but we took our son for a cut yesterday and his hair looks horrible. It is difficult enough to find someone who can do multiracial textured hair. Now add on having to see this haircut on pictures from the holiday season. My husband asked for a trim, but to retain his curls. Not sure who did the cut, but apparently they then went into trimming all the hair straight across at an equal length which is not how curls are cut. The stylist said nothing to him. No questions and no responses. The back and sides of his head, where the hair is more textured, is a total hack job. We’ve taken him here once before and his hair was amazing, but I’m not sure we’ll be returning.
We took our daughter here for her first haircut. We were nervous she wouldn’t stay still but she fell I live with the little airplane seat and it went smoothly. The stylist was soo nice with our baby and was smiley which I loved. She was patient and did a great job. We will definitely come back again and recommend family and friends.
I brought my daughter to Lillie’s and Spikes today and watched Maria handle a difficult moment with a child who was struggling with so much patience, empathy, and care. She stayed calm and kind the entire time, showing incredible skill and compassion during the haircut. It was heartbreaking to see the family leave without paying or acknowledging her effort. Maria went above and beyond, and I want to make sure that doesn’t go unnoticed. This salon is a gem. They truly care about kids and families, and that deserves to be recognized.
I have been taking my boys to Lillie’s & Spikes for the last 11 years. Every time is a wonderful experience. Today we showed a picture and a little explanation of what my son wanted. Then I sat down and let my 10 yr old provide his own input. As per usual, they exceeded our expectations!! My son is so happy with his cut and style!! Highly recommend!!
