I was gifted a vanilla and strawberry cake for my birthday. It was exceptionally delicious! Flavorful, soft, delicate, not overly sweet. Amazing!!! I LOVE it
I arrived on Saturday morning desperately searching for a tres leches cake for a party that night. I had not ordered ahead planning to make one myself, but had issues! They had an undecorated tres leches cake and customized it with my text and lots of trim. It was beautiful and everyone at the party complimented the cakes appearance and taste. I’ll definitely order from them again (with more notice)!
I placed an order a few weeks ahead for a caramel dulce de leche cake. It was very easy placing the order and I was confident in the cake I would be receiving considering the price and clarification I gave on the phone but upon receiving my cake it was not what I expected at all. The cake itself was very dry and lacking in flavor, even the icing, it seemed like it was made several days before the requested pickup day. The only flavor was provided from the thick strips or caramel in between the layers of cake. I have had a caramel dulce de leche cake before and was looking so forward to this one but it was not what I had ordered at all and did not even make up for it in taste. Another issue was when I requested just a specific color for them to do the decorations I was told it would be an extra charge, so I let her decorate it as she please to avoid the charge. Whenever I picked up the cake she told me she didn’t know what color I wanted so she did blue even though I had asked for green over the phone. The cake looked good but with the taste being nothing like I requested and the comment about the color it just gave me so my frustration and disappointment with this bakery. This was my first time ordering from this store and be the last time as well. Good luck to anyone with future orders.
Lily’s Bakery is so amazing! I love their food and pastries. 🥮 Most of her pastries are made with little sugar so you can never go wrong. What I love most is the amazing taste at Lily’s. All of her food is authentic and creative 🥰 P.S. her bakery is also really cute so why not visit
Shara made my sisters custom birthday cake. It looked and tasted incredible! (It was a lemon cake with blueberry filling. Yum!) She even got the color bows she wanted on her cake. It was absolutely lovely. Great price for such a huge cake!! From a party of eight, we still have about half of the cake left!!
