This spot was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a morning in the city. The barista shared that it’s a carbon-free hotel, which made the experience even more unique. The menu was unlike anything I’ve seen before, full of creative options. I decided to try something completely outside of my usual order, and I was blown away by the flavor combinations. A true must-visit!
After a wonderful stay at Populus, I had an iced matcha latte breve at Little Owl in their lobby. Best matcha latte ever! High quality ingredients! Comfy bar seat by the window.
I just came in for coffee, but this bar/restaurant is beautiful! The staff was very welcoming and kind. I sat at the bar although there is a different area for coffee the bartender was happy to go order for me. I ordered an iced coffee and it was perfect. The food coming out of the restaurant looked incredible although I didn’t have any. The building is super cool on the outside and stunning on the inside. I love the mix of modern and earthy.
Little Owl Coffee inside the Populus Hotel is an absolute gem. Located right in the main floor lobby, it’s the perfect spot to kick off your morning or take a midday break in downtown Denver. I had the iced vanilla latte, and it did not disappoint—smooth, flavorful, and just the right touch of sweetness. You can tell they care about quality and craft. It’s no surprise this place is getting amazing reviews—locals and visitors alike are raving about it. The ambiance matches the Populus vibe perfectly—sleek, modern, and welcoming, with natural finishes and big windows that bring in tons of light. Whether you’re meeting someone, working remotely, or just grabbing something to go, the space feels both calm and vibrant. With its unbeatable location, consistent quality, and standout service, Little Owl Coffee has to be one of Denver’s best coffee experiences. Highly recommend checking it out if you're anywhere near the Populus.
I was nearby and looking for a place to grab a coffee and hopefully have a comfy place to sit and study. I'm glad I came by, it's truly a unique and special place, with tasty coffee drinks, a few pastries, and a variety of seating options across two floors. My coffee was cold and refreshing, and there was ceramic mugs to fill from water jugs scattered throughout
