This place is only getting one star for some of the friendlier staff, but I can't give any more stars to this place for just how filthy this place is. I understand kids play places aren't the cleanest, but this by far the grossest. The balls in the pit were so dirty, and there were trash and puddles on the floor that weren't being cleaned up. The designated toddler space had older kids and teens hogging the spinners and play cushions, and spinning recklessly near the toddlers - an employee was present yet didn't do anything about it. The entire space is so poorly managed. There are plenty of kids play places in San Jose that are cleaner, we won't be coming here again.

Staff: a couple of staff members were rude, as they hate their jobs. Not all. Hygiene: non-existent. The place is filthy. It doesn't seem to be sanitized on a regular basis. Arcades: many arcades in the premise. Avoid coming here if arcade is something you want your kids to stay away from. And of course you purchase a card and load credits to play, just like other places. It has a sign that says "funtropolous does not own the arcades. Use at your own risk." Policy: $4 for a pair of socks that you are required to purchase for "safety reasons", even though you already signed a waiver. Adults are required to purchase a pair, too! Amazing.

My kids loves it. The facility has so many variety of play sets. The area are reasonably clean and provide ice water for customers. The only drawback is there aren’t enough chairs for the parents and children to take a seats. Overall, it is a clean and safe environment that’s suitable for children to spend their energy.

Originally I was going to give 1 star because of how filthy the place was and how incredibly rude the woman staff member was. After staying a while the men staff members came and were so kind and the bazooka ball and climbing walls were fun, So that changed my rating to 3. I wish I knew the rock wall and bazooka ball were not open until 4pm. I didn’t see that listed online so we had to wait. Everything needs a major deep clean. So many things were broken- the inner tube slide had one flat tube and you got stuck halfway down every time. The ball guns in the play place wouldn’t shoot. The toddler area is so sad. Lots of play areas with no toys at all and not much to do. It was fun once, but I wouldn’t go again unless it has a major overhaul.

One of the dirtiest places I’ve ever been. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially with babies/little ones. The ball pit was so disgusting, foot prints everywhere. Clearly the surfaces hadn’t been wiped down in ages. I was not comfortable leaving my baby on any of the surfaces without first wiping them myself. Even then, I found that the dirt had been left on surfaces for so long that it was impossible to just wipe them clean. They charge exorbitantly for the kind of dump this place is. Not sure how they’re even staying open.
