First time going and I am definitely going back! Lotus Balance employee was waiting for me as I walked in for my appointment which I easily made online. The restroom and massage room were both clean and tidy. The massage worked out several links and knots that cause me chronic pain and discomfort.
I visited Lotus Balance Massage in Charlotte, North Carolina with a friend during my birthday weekend, and it was the perfect way to celebrate. We decided on a tabletop massage that incorporated deep tissue techniques, cupping, hot stones, and essential oils—and it exceeded every expectation. The massage itself was incredibly meticulous and highly individualized. The therapist used a comprehensive blend of techniques, almost like a series of perfectly connected mini-techniques, tailored specifically to our needs. It was clear a lot of skill and intention went into every part of the session. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The environment was warm, welcoming, and deeply relaxing. The staff and massage therapists were extremely professional and attentive, and we were even offered complimentary water, which was a thoughtful touch. This was one of the most thorough and well-executed massages I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a place that combines professionalism, diverse techniques, and a truly calming atmosphere, Lotus Balance Massage is a must-visit. I will absolutely be back!
Ten stars Sophia is a fantastic therapist. Helped me over the past few months to work out some shoulders issues. I’ve been seeing Anna recently and she is great as well. Great spot, very clean, and they are all so welcoming. Worth the drive down to South Boulevard.
Very disappointed by the service and will not return. The staff was nice upon arrival and we confirmed a 60 minute massage for $80 a piece. I informed the masseuse I wanted medium pressure, but I'm still sore two days later and had to request lighter pressure during the session. During the massage, the masseuse says, we'll do 90 minutes. We said okay, thinking nothing else of it. When it's time to pay, we're surprised to see $250 on the machine. I ask about it and THEN I'm informed a 90 minute massage is $125 a piece. About to leave she says, no tip? Honestly I had no intentions of leaving one. Reluctantly I put in $10 and she had the nerve to say, that's for both? I put in $20 and left. Never again.
Sophia was very responsive and able to get me in quickly when I was in extreme pain. She was very kind and skilled. I left being able to move more and will most definitely recommend to friends and be returning more regularly! Location is a total hidden gem but is very clean and relaxing environment!
