The Lotus Center for Integrative Medicine gave me my life back. Let me be more specific. Rena Haley, my acupuncturist, gave me my life back. In 2009, I was diagnosed with Meniere's disease which is an inner ear disease that causes vertigo that can last up 4-6 hours. These episodes were sometimes very frequent and I had to alter my plans often as a result of them. I had gone to several doctors that prescribed different medications for the disease but nothing worked consistently. The next step was invasive surgery that only had a 50/50 chance of working. I wanted to exhaust all avenues before doing that which brought me to Rena in 2019. I was truly at the last step before inner ear surgery. Immediately after treatment my vertigo issues improved greatly but still did not go away completely. After altering my treatment and my herbs - I had my last vertigo episode over 3 years ago. For nearly 10 years - I never went more than a few weeks without a vertigo episode and now I am going on my fourth year. That is truly unbelievable to me. I am very fortunate to be a very healthy person other than my Meniere's disease and between my medication, acupuncture, herbs, and dietary changes I am living a completely normal life - thanks to the hard work, dedication, and persistence of Rena. She has truly given me my life back. I could not be more grateful and appreciative to her and her team. What sets Rena apart from other practitioners is that she listened to my issues and researched what she could do to help me. I truly believe that Rena's passion and dedication will work if you give it a chance to do so. I recommend her with all my heart and the team at the Lotus Center has been so very wonderful for me.
I’ve been a patient at Lotus for almost 3 years now. I found them after my second miscarriage desperate for help. They are the real deal. I’ve sought help from so many different areas of medicine, but Lotus has by far been the place I’ve loved most and found the most healing. I went to them for fertility help but what I really found was that they do so much more, they specialize in problem solving. After working with Wendy for awhile, I was in the best health of my life. She helped me heal from so many long-standing issues. And I went on to have my beautiful daughter who I affectionately call my Lotus baby. Wendy supported me throughout that entire pregnancy, way beyond just acupuncture. I’m incredibly grateful to her, she is SO good at what she does. She’s compassionate, wise, trustworthy, and friendly--someone you look forward to meeting with. Although I primarily worked with Wendy, I can say it’s really a collaborative practice. Each the practitioner brings something unique to the table and together they make a super team of health experts. I’ve also worked with Rena and Brandon, did NET with Steve, and now take my daughter to see Annie for pediatric care. I have had great experiences with each of them. Even after having my baby I’ve stayed under their care and continue to see what an amazing asset they are. I’ve gotten mastitis a few times in my breastfeeding journey, and I’ve taken herbs specially formulated for it and seen just how quickly the herbs take care of things. Wendy has gone out of her way to get me those herbs quickly at the first sign of mastitis, and her magic formula has saved me from multiple rounds of antibiotics, I’m so grateful for that. The folks at Lotus work hard and really prioritize their patients. Can’t say enough about them. They’re seriously my one stop shop. They can successfully address so many different health issues, and if it’s something that needs to be referred out, they know exactly who to send you to. I look forward to continuing under their care! I’m so happy to be a patient of Lotus. Truly grateful.
I have been wanting to write a review for a while now. I am so glad I was referred to lotus center for integrative medicine. Wendy is a true healer, I came to her with so much body pain, aches and Perimenopausal symptoms including the lovely hot flashes. Wendy is extremely knowledgeable and an expert of what she does. I have tried other acupuncturists before and never got results. The results with Wendy have been so amazing. They treat and heal many issues. The center is extremely clean, Cautious and aware of all covid protocols. staff is Courteous and friendly. If you are in pain, don’t wait call and make an appointment, give it a try, you will not regret it. Thank you Wendy!
He estado recibiendo tratamiento de acupuntura intermitentemente desde 2003 de un maestro acupunturista en West Los Angeles. Cuando entré por la puerta de LCIM, mis expectativas eran altas. Fui recibido de inmediato por un personal cálido y un entorno limpio. Hay una energía tranquila en el centro y hay una sensación de que los practicantes y el personal trabajan como un gran equipo. Cuando vi a Rena por primera vez, ya conocía mi caso, ya que revisó mis formularios de ingreso de antemano. Ella hizo unas pocas preguntas de seguimiento sobre mis prácticas generales de salud y luego me trató con una increíble gentileza. Lo que más me impresionó fue su habilidad para 'sentir' los puntos donde mis meridianos experimentaban cierto estancamiento. Rena me envió por correo un informe que incluía una encuesta de mi condición, tratamiento y recomendaciones adicionales. No puedo decir suficientes cosas buenas sobre el Lotus Center. He estado yendo a Brandon Horn para acupuntura y hierbas durante más de un año debido al síndrome de fatiga crónica (CFS). Es un buen oyente, y está activamente involucrado en intentar mejorar mi salud. Encuentro que está dispuesto a tomarse su tiempo conmigo -- no tengo la sensación de que esté listo para salir corriendo para atender al siguiente paciente, como me pasa con tantos médicos. Da la bienvenida a preguntas por correo electrónico entre sesiones, y siempre responde de manera oportuna. También ha estado activamente involucrado en mi lucha por obtener la aprobación de beneficios por discapacidad (lo cual puede ser difícil para las personas con CFS), escribiendo cartas de apoyo o refutando denegaciones. Además de la ayuda con mi CFS, he experimentado mejoras en varios problemas de salud menores que he tenido durante mucho tiempo. A veces es por la acupuntura, pero otras veces es por su recomendación del suplemento nutricional adecuado de su vasto almacén de conocimiento sobre el tema. ¡Esta es mi primera experiencia con la acupuntura, y tuve la suerte de encontrar al mejor desde el primer momento!
