The place is a little hole in the wall, but the food is amazing! The lamb chop plate was amazing, the meat tender and the veggies fresh. I wish I could have taken a picture of the plates but we were hungry and left our plates empty! Proves the point our food was good!
Lucia Mediterranean Grill – Los Angeles What initially brought us to this location was the great reviews, which made the experience a bit disappointing. The food was actually pretty good, but the service really missed the mark. The server was not friendly at all—no hello, no welcome, no “thank you for coming,” and no check-in to see how the food was. This was our first time here, and when we tried to ask for suggestions, she completely ignored us and just pointed to the order kiosk instead of engaging with us. Our group completely understands that people have bad days—we all do. But when you’re charging top prices for your food (nearly $25+ per plate), basic friendliness and customer care should be a given. Paying premium prices and receiving cold, dismissive service is a true fail. A little warmth goes a long way, especially for first-time customers. Honestly, this place would probably have 5 stars across the board if the owner/server would just smile a bit, be more friendly, and show genuine care toward her customers. Be grateful. Be humble. That said, the food itself was decent enough that I’d consider giving Lucia another try. With better customer service, this place could easily turn first-time visitors into regulars. Let’s do better.
Lucia Mediterranean Grill was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — everything tasted authentic and high quality. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the customer service. Hermon was excellent: friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They checked on us, made great recommendations, and kept everything smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Lucia Mediterranean Grill to friends and family!
This eatery serves wonderful Mediterranean food! The chicken in the shawarma plate stood out with a subtle turmeric note, and the garlic whip was fluffy and fresh. The portions were generous, and the people were just as lovely. We were even treated to free baklava. The decor has interesting touches, and it’s pet-friendly too!
We visited Lucia’s Mediterranean Grill, a small and cozy spot that truly impressed us. The food was exquisitely delicious—every dish felt fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. We tried a beef wrap, the lamb chops, Jerusalem salad, pargiyot plate chicken and everything was outstanding. The pita bread was served hot and fresh. The portions were generous, and even the plates themselves felt authentically Mediterranean, adding a nice touch to the experience. The service was also excellent. Our server was friendly, warm, and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, we left very satisfied. Lucia’s Mediterranean Grill is a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it for anyone craving flavorful Mediterranean cuisine.
