Lucky AF: Asian Fusion & Sushi in Richmond was a great choice for date night with my wife. The sushi was incredibly fresh and well prepared, with quality ingredients that really stood out. The atmosphere was fun and lively, making it a nice spot for a relaxed but special evening. There was a bit of a wait to get our food, but once it arrived, it was absolutely worth it. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and you could tell care went into each dish. If you’re not in a rush and want excellent sushi, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I have come twice in the last few weeks, and I was lucky enough to get the same server both times - and ti was incredible! I have always loved the food, but now I can say that I have had absolutely amazing experiences because the staff here are so sweet! The rolls are definitely fusion, but there are still some wonderful traditional homages everywhere.

Randomly chose Lucky AF after seeing the number of reviews and now I know why. Great selection of unique roll choices and flavors, like the Granada Roll with the jalapeño relish (not hot). AND, happy hour specials until 6PM.

First time here and it did not disappoint! The restaurant has a casual, trendy vibe for a sushi spot, with inventive rolls that truly stand out. We had a wonderful server who recommended the Get Naked, Baby Krish, and a weekly special roll with truffle oil—all of which were absolutely delicious. These rolls were unlike any I’ve ever come across: creative, bold, and packed with flavor. If you're from out of town like me, you have to stop at Lucky AF when you roll through!

First time here, loved the rolls. We got a spicy sockeye salmon traditional roll and a fancy roll called the Wonder Woman. Both were superb. We tried the lobster dumpling appetizer out of curiosity and it just wasn’t what we expected with the word “dumpling” so a bit down on the rating from that. The flavor was okay. Definitely will return for the rolls and happy hour deals!
