Atmosphere was great! Bridget was our bartender she had amazing service suggested great drinks and good deals!
The arcade side was fun and the staff was very helpful. We mainly came for bowling though; the person (Jayden B) at the front desk with the shoe rental was really rude for some reason. I asked simple question like how much are games and what is the special and he stares at me like I just asked him what’s 2+2 is. He would give me intentional long pauses which made conversation with him feel aggressive and not friendly. As a competitive bowler, definitely do not go here as the lanes are not oiled which lead you to catch less pockets. Sensor seemed to be off in lane 7/8 as well as we had a couple frames where it did not register as a spare/strike/undetected pin. As a recreational bowler, this would suffice.
Went during a saturday afternoon with my 10 year old. We had a Groupon to use. Good staff. My son had a blast.
The staff is great, but getting the manager takes about 30 min of your life when you can be playing games. They do not take you seriously, and I’ve wasted about two hours of my life trying to get extra tickets when the machine took it. I recommend the place itself but the staff sucks . But I do love the place overall. If you want a cheap arcade then this is your place. So good, fun vibes. But the staff is not good .
We had a more or less very negative experience at Lucky Strike Fenway. At first, everything was okay and we even got a quiet lane. However, as the night went on, the place became increasingly crowded and we ended up with extremely loud neighbors on the lanes next to us, which forced us to stop playing. In the meantime, we ordered some food. Not only did it take a very long time to prepare, but the quality was absolutely unacceptable. Everything tasted like old frying oil, suggesting the oil hadn’t been changed in a while. To top it off, our bill came to almost $90, which is outrageously expensive for the food and service we received. The highlight of the evening was the payment problem. Although my banking app confirmed that the contactless payment had gone through, the waitress claimed it didn’t. After talking to the management, my friend was asked to pay again, resulting in our card being charged twice. Resolving this took a lot of effort and hassle. All in all, we will not be coming back.
