This is the best antique and vintage store in the greater Sacramento area. The staff is friendly and helpful and it is filled with beautiful merchandise. When you walk in, it’s like you are walking into someone’s special home. Not like those other stores that have cubbyholes all in a row. The layout of this store is fabulous. Love this store!!
While the store is ok there was a horrid woman that worked there. I was asked if I was ready to check out and she barked at me:"where's your stuff?". I calmly smiled and said "on the shelf". She then walked away. I wish I knew her name (she was large and tall with short grey hair") as the other two ladies were polite and helpful. Hopefully she isn't the owner as she should be fired for her behavior. Although I purchased two nice things I won't be returning.
I’ve been here twice now and always enjoy looking at all the troves of antiques and vintage collectibles. There’s so much to look at from figurines to art pieces to pieces of fine china. Unfortunately, this time round an employee hovered over us the entire time we looked around. It just felt uncomfortable. My husband also noticed it. I understand I wore something less modest than last time but it’s hot now-it’s August in Sacramento. My tattoos show off and I’m not sure if that was what bothered the employee or what but this treatment was very different to when I was all buttoned up last time. It definitely felt we were judged based on our looks. I have money, I came to hopefully buy something but after having the employee breathe down our necks I probably won’t be back. I’ll just go to Bliss Marketplace.
What a special place! This was my first time stopping by (which I’m shocked by and wish I had come in sooner) and I had a wonderful time exploring and finding so many goodies! The staff is friendly and kind, I noticed that pricing is very fair and different dealers have such a variety of gorgeous things. Sandra was around to help my sister and me out she is delightful! Can’t wait to come back again and explore even more in depth, I’m sure I’ll find more special objects and hope you stop by as well!!
