I had the absolute best experience with my makeup artist for both my sangeet and wedding. She was incredibly great to work with from start to finish and took the time to have a detailed discussion beforehand to truly understand the look I wanted. She was always available to answer questions and made sure my vision came to life exactly how I imagined. On my wedding day, she kept me feeling so calm and relaxed, which meant everything to me. Most importantly, she made me feel confident and beautiful on such an important day. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Geet was amazing to work with! She was so friendly, really heard me/what I wanted, and connected with not only me but my friends and family. It felt like a party getting ready with her! My mom and mother in law also loved the people Geet worked with and were so happy with their looks. I will start by saying that while Geet is a very kind individual, I ultimately did not end up going with her to do my final wedding makeup. I had hired her for 2 events - my Hindu wedding ceremony, as well as my fusion ceremony/reception. There were a few reasons I ended up not having her do my makeup the day of: 1) Lack of professionalism: there were several instances where I felt that Geet lacked professionalism in our interactions. Several times we would have a scheduled a call, and then right before would ask to move the time. The day before my scheduled trial, she asked to move it to a different day because she had to ‘deep clean her apartment’; she ended up coming to my home instead, as I had to tell her I could not move it as I had taken time off work to attend. 2) Unfamiliarity with darker complexions: while I saw a few darker skinned examples on her Instagram and website, I was disappointed to see that she was unable to color match me comfortably. When my mother and I expressed uncertainty with the look, she tried to convince us that I would like it on the day of. It was clear that she had not worked on many South Indian brides before. I sent photos of my makeup to many friends after the trial, and they were all similarly disappointed. 3) Inflexibility with feedback: when my planner reached out about my disappointment with the trial, Geet unfortunately was not willing to take the feedback. We offered to keep the booking to have family makeup done instead, and while it was her right to do so, she refused to work with us. Ultimately, I ended up losing money by walking away, but I was too concerned that these experiences would cause me unnecessary stress and anxiety on my wedding day. I think that Geet is a talented artist, and it was unfortunate that she wasn’t the best fit for me.

I booked Geet for hair and makeup for me and for my daughter for a family wedding. We had to start very early at 5 am. Geet was prompt on-time, very calm and accommodative. We wanted natural and light makeup and she did an awesome job and the make lasted all day thru the evening reception. Highly recommend her

Geet did a wonderful job with both my bridal makeup and henna. She was professional, incredibly responsive and efficient with communication, and clearly talented at her craft. On the day of, she was a calm and steady presence - arriving and finishing on time, making me feel beautiful, and thoughtfully providing a touch-up kit I could use throughout the day. I wholeheartedly recommend her!
