We were greeted promptly and seated. Our server was Brayden. He was very professional and thorough in his introduction and descriptions of dishes on the menu as well as available specials. The food was delicious and presentation was lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Dined with a group of ten for a special occasion at Mama Tosca's. Just visiting the area. The service was top-class (Forgive me, I forget his name (25-30 yo)). He checked in on everyone individually, carefully explaining the menu options, answering a ton of questions. All the while with professional temperament. I'm sure he had other tables he was serving but it felt that you were receiving dedicated individual service. The food was excellent. The bread!!!! Warm...great crust but extremely light and airy interior. Incredible. I saw some of the disparaging reviews but frankly, there wasn't a person who wasn't impressed with their dish in our group. We ordered the gamut...zucchini flowers, folded truffle pasta, calamari, insalto misto. The Lobster pasta, Osso bucco, and linguini with clam were favorites. I would not hesitate recommending people to dine here, particularly for a date night or special occasion.

The food here used to be good, but not anymore. We were going to bring home take out for the family but opted out after we tasted it. Attended a work Christmas party. Definitely felt like punishment having to eat here. Appetizers were cold. We thought the mozzarella balls were meatballs they were so tough. Fancy napkins does not make tasty food. Pretty sad when your leaving a restaurant saying hurry up and let's get home because I'm starving and need something to eat.

My thoughts are that this is the best Italian fine dining place in Bakersfield. White tablecloths and napkins, very well dressed servers that are well versed on the entire menu plus all of the daily specials. Javier has been working here since the beginning of time I believe, and it shows. My aging mother loves this place...and Javier, so I make sure that I take her here everytime that I'm in town. She gets so giddy when she sees that he's our waiter and only wants him to make her a cosmopolitan! He's a great server, make sure that you don't lose him. We were there on 10/25 right after you opened for the evening. I can't mention mom's name but I think you can figure out who we are and please pass on the kudos to Javier. PS, my wife and I love the place also

Mama Tosca’s is one of our favorite restaurants in town. Mama’s always provides a top tier dining experience. The pasta purses are always a go to appetizer, but the squash blossoms are AMAZING as well. They are filled with ricotta cheese and are crispy without being greasy. The marinara sauce they’re served with gives them the perfect balance of salty and sweet. My favorite entree is still the sea bass. I prefer fettuccine Alfredo and they’re always so nice and allow me to sub that instead of the penne pasta with marinara. In my opinion the best thing at Mama’s is the Mama’s Special. This warm spiked cappuccino is the perfect way to end any meal and pairs perfectly with all the desserts they serve. This is a great restaurant for people in town who crave fine dining or an elevated experience. The servers are very attentive and we love talking with Bruno every time we come in. I definitely recommend Mama Tosca’s they have indoor seating, private rooms for parties, and a nice patio area! I look forward to coming again soon!
