Maple Leaf provides a variety of options and they all sound delicious. We went on a Sunday morning and expectedly encountered a 30+ minute wait at 9:30am. The staff is attentive, friendly and FAST. Not your typical diner vibes, this cafe is more modern, spacious and bright. Breakfast was so good. We had pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, sausage, toast, biscuits and gravy I mean we had all the breakfast staples. Even had their cream puffs, you are going to enjoy breakfast here! Quantity is rich here and the prices are very reasonable. We don’t do breakfast out much but we’d definitely recommend Maple Leaf to those in the area.
Been here twice now and both times the service was excellent. The servers are very attentive from our experience and the food has been great on both visits. The portion sizes relative to the pricing is also fantastic! With how many places are giving you less for more, Maple Leaf Dinner is giving more for less and that makes this place worth the visit alone.
Only been here once, so I can only comment on one dish, but it was great. Had the chicken fried steak poutine. It was excellent, but beware - it's absolutely massive. I could only eat about 40% of it and had to box the rest. Attached pic doesn't really show how much food is on that plate/bowl. The price was a steal for the portion size. Good service. Clean bathroom. Very busy place.
My husband and I came for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The wait time a little over an hour but we decided to wait. We had been wanting to come and since it was out anniversary, we wanted to try it out. I absolutely loved it! The decor inside is cute. They have a pretty big menu options, I got the famous chicken, bacon & waffles and it was amazing! Presentation was amazing! I love the combination of the chicken and the sweetness of the maple syrup. Their coffee was great too! My husband and I love strong coffee and this one was perfect for us! Service was amazing too! We will definitely be coming back!
Busy place on Sat morning. We joined the wait list in advance and were two away from getting “sat” once we got there which was nice. It was our first time here -we asked the waiter for recommendations and he suggested the chicken and waffles and the corned beef which is made in-house. Both good recommendations. We add some poutine gravy to the second which made the dish perfect. Will come here again. Efficient and polite service.
