If you have no experience Boxing but want to learn, just do it. Firstly the coaches are knowledgeable, the classes are structured well, and the facility is clean and sanitary. Beyond that everyone in class is willing to help each-other. If you are on the fence about joining and reading reviews just do it. My only regret is I didn’t start going sooner.
I love Marin Boxing Academy. Everyone there makes you feel like family. I’ve always wanted to try boxing and now I have the chance to do so thanks to these guys and gals that want us all to succeed. The staff brings the excellence out in everyone and all are welcome. Great community :-)
Worst experience ever. Had my son Do a Try out session. First time ever doing this, he was so excited to go. The coach Logan was sparing and punched him in the nose, his nose bleed let alone didn’t help him. A trainer is supposed to teach, not to crush. Definitely ruined his experience.
Marin Boxing has been amazing. The gym is great, the atmosphere is amazing and the coaches are always looking out for you. I tried this gym the first couple of times and had unrealistic expectations for everything to be just like my last gym, but when I changed my mind set and walked in with a clean slate and new attitude you realize, really how special this place is. If you're slacking, the coaches will let you know. If your hands are dropping the coaches will let you know and if your attitude sucks the coaches will definitely let you know. I couldn't be happier that I stayed a part of this gym and look forward to continue training here for a long time to come.
MBA is a great boxing academy! Awesome coaches and great staff. They offer individual training, classic training, kids/Jrs classes. Great atmosphere, clean equipment, boxing gear available to purchase or rent. Legit gym! I trust the MBA coaches with my sons training, my training and my fellow boxing partners training during classes.
