The best place to get your haircut in Jersey City. I used to live in Jersey but moved away, and I still make the trip back just to get my haircut here. It’s hard to find someone who knows how to cut straight, Asian-like hair. I highly recommend Jesse — you won’t be disappointed.
About 2 years after getting the best haircut I've ever gotten courtesy of Luca at Markdaniel, I had to come back to see Luca for a pre-wedding cut. After rotating through many shops closer to me, I've yet to find a spot with better hospitality, conversation, or quality of service, even considering the more premium pricepoint. Markdaniel is unequivocally the best barbershop I've visited and I'd highly recommend--especially Luca--to anyone looking for a superior barbershop experience.

Markdaniel Barbershop is hands down the best place to get your hair and beard done! I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Sr. Barber Mike, and he did an outstanding job. Not only did he cut my hair and trim my beard perfectly, but he also made the whole experience fun and relaxing. Mike’s positive attitude and professional skills truly stood out. The shop itself is incredibly clean, and the entire staff is super friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a place where you can sit back, relax, and leave feeling like a million bucks, Markdaniel Barbershop is it. Highly recommend!
