Basically an overpriced thrift store. Not curated at all. There are a thousand better places to shop for antiques if you're in the Richmond area.
Just stopped in, as was passing by. Saw a beautiful.clock up front. Thought it was priced a bit high, marked at $100, marked down 40%..Thought we'll, for a nice clock, it's a bit much but a beautiful piece. Turned out to be a big beautiful non functioning wall decor. Way overpriced for a non working non functioning piece!
This place is spacious and that’s about it. They describe themselves as “the largest antique store around,” but if you’re looking for antiques - save your time. A lot of stuff felt like the bathroom clean outs of estate sales or eBay dealer runoff inventory they couldn’t sell. I can mind a few craft vendors but a lot of booths are international imports and factory-made. The plus is that it’s huge and clean; but if you fill the place with all very similar vendors it makes it hard to find anything unique. It definitely has potential but I’d love to see less cheap import items, beanie babies and goodwill porcelain dolls.
10-4-23. They ARE OPEN for business. Great variety and very neatly kept. Great for a stroll through to find a few hidden treasures!
I absolutely LOVE the Market Bazaar! I'm a vendor here and I can find just about anything I need here. In fact, I check the booths before I shop anywhere else. I've gotten tables, chairs, baskets, display cases and fun decorations. You can even get high quality CBD here in booth #195 - 100% USA grown.
