Both of my toddler boys have gotten haircuts here. The staff is very accommodating and very understanding, even when my kids get scared. They always provide great haircuts.
Dante has never enjoyed a cut so much. Best toddler cut in Jersey New York and PA as far as I can tell. Can’t wait to go back.
This is the only salon I will bring my toddler to. Marlenny is a pro at handling little kids. We tried another kids' place who could not handle my nervous son and completely butchered his hair. But Marlenny is patient and knows exactly how to deal with kids and can easily cut a kids' hair using scissors only, can cut when a kid is sitting in a parent's lap, has different toys for kids to play with, etc. If you have a very young kid, be sure to request Marlenny. My daughter has had her hair cut by Griss and the other ladies and they always do a fantastic job on her hair and giving her layers. Highly recommend this salon for kids!
I had a terrible experience at Marlenny’s Salon Minios for Kids. I took my two-year-old son for a haircut, and unfortunately, Griss (the stylist) did a very poor job. From the start, I had a bad feeling she came out with an attitude, speaking in Spanish and complaining to coworkers, not realizing that I also understood what she was saying. She was not patient with my son at all. He’s only two, and like most toddlers, he moved a bit during the haircut. Instead of being gentle or understanding, she repeatedly yelled “no, no, no” at him. At one point, when she went to grab his arm away, she nearly poked him in the face with the scissors. That was extremely unsafe and unprofessional. The whole experience was uncomfortable, and the haircut itself turned out uneven and sloppy. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place for young children.
Mi esposa y yo fuimos a hacerles un corte de pelo a nuestros gemelos cuando tenían 11 meses. Estábamos un poco nerviosos ya que era su primer corte, pero todos los juguetes les hicieron sentir muy cómodos desde el inicio. ¡También les encantaron las sillas! No hemos vuelto a cortarle el pelo desde entonces y realmente desearíamos estar más cerca de Mininos para poder volver. ¡Gracias Marlenny!
